8mJI - World Championship 2017 - Hanko NOR - Day 3, McLaughlin CAN now 5th

 8mJI - World Championship 2017 - Hanko NOR - Day 3, McLaughlin CAN now 5th Three races were sailed yesterday in moderate winds and Avia Willment GBR on her new 8mIJ sailing in the 'Modern' category dominated the fleet with three bullets. Werner Deuring AUT on rank 2 is first in the SIRA category. Terry McLaughlin CAN had a medium day (twice rank 10) and dropped on rank 5 just behind HM King Harald of Norway.

 8mJI - World Championship 2017 - Hanko NOR - Day 1, McLaughlin CAN 4th The 8mIJ World Championship began yesterday in Hankö NOR in moderate winds with 28 teams from 9 nations and 3 continents. Two races were completed and the first leader is Werner Deuring AUT with the ranks 1 and 2. Avia Willment GBR and Lars Ingeberg NOR are the first challengers. Terry McLaughlin CAN is 4th. Well placed is also HM King Harald of Norway on the 5th place.

As a tune-up race, the 'Régate Annuelle en Mer' of the SN Genéve has been sailed and the winner after 3 races was Avia Willment GBR ahead of Werner Deuring AUT and Lars Ingeberg NOR. The ranking list.
