 Viper 640 - Winter Series #1 - Sarasota FL, USA The first of three events of the 2018-19 Viper Winter Series was held in Sarasota FL over the past weekend with 26 boats on the starting line. Light winds allowed for four races on Saturday, while on Sunday, the wind failed to fill in.
Christopher Stocke finished first with nothing but top-3 results in the four races held one point ahead of Marcus Eagan. Another point behind followed Peter Beardsley in third.

 Olympic & Youth Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Final results This Sunday morning UTC, Sail Melbourne is about to be terminated, an event, mostly sailed in good conditions with all classes having completed their programs.
In the 470 men, Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS are the outstanding winners.
Maud Jayet SUI won two races today and missed the overall win in the Lasers Radial by 0,2 points only,
In the good-quality Finn fleet, Nicholas Heiner finished first ahead of Jake Lilley AUS and Andy Maloney NZL. The dominator of the class and Olympic Champion Giles Scott GBR had to content himself with rank 4.

 Olympic & Youth Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 3 This morning UTC, the wind was absent in Melbourne and there are doubts, that later in the afternoon (local time), racing can be resumed. Here the video statement.
Yesterday, only a reduced program was held. A change must be noted in the Laser Radial rankings where the race winner Maud Jayet SUI was relegated on rank 4 with a time penalty. Her backlog on the new leader Mara Stransky AUS is only 1,2 points.

 Olympic & Youth Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 2 After some postponements, the first races were sailed this morning UTC in Melbourne.
The two small Nacra fleets have already completed their programs. In the Nacras 17. Tayla Rietman/Lachan White AUS are on the first place. In the Nacras 15, Dalton/Drew AUS and Cooley/Hancock AUS share the lead.
Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS won the first 470 race of the day and consolidated their lead.
The other Olympic classes did not yet finish their races.
The updated ranking lists will be available by noon.

 Olympic & Youth Classes - Sail Melbourne - Melbourne AUS - Day 1 This morning UTC, "Sail Melbourne" started with the first races, an event no longer part of the Olympic Classes Worldcup, but nevertheless the most attended regatta down-under. Racing is still underway at press deadline this morning (6 a.m UTC), but the first results have been posted.
In the 470 men, Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS won both heats of the day. First in the small 470 women fleet are Nia Jerwood/Monique Devries AUS and Frederike Löwe/Ana Markfort GER with the same number of points.
Sam Meech NZL leads after 2 races in the Lasers Standard ahead of Matthew Wearn UAS. In the Lasers Radial (M/W) , Maud Jayet SUI finished first in the opening race.
In the all-Australian Lasers 4.7, Daniel Costandi AUS is on top.
