Tornado - World Championship 2019 - Takapuna NZL - Final results

The World Championship of the former Olympic Tornado Catamarans was concluded yesterday on Hauracki Bay / Auckland NZL with as last race. The sequence on the podium remained unchanged: Brett Burvill/Max Puttman AUS earned their first title in front of Jörg Steiner/Michael Gloor SUI grasping Silver. On rank 3 followed the mixed team Elena Jentsch/Daniel Brown GER.

Tornado - World Championship 2019 - Takapuna NZL - Day 5

After the two races of this morning UTC, the Tornado Worlds title is firmly in the hands of Brett Burvill/Max Puttman AUS as the advantage of 11 points can hardly be compensated by the immediate challengers Jörg Steiner/Michael Gloor SUI, who are on a safe Silver Medal course with a 16 points' lead on Estela Jentsch/Daniel Brown AUS. Tomorrow, the last two races are on the program.

 Tornado - World Championship 2019 - Takapuna NZL - Day 5 After the lay day yesterday, racing continued this morning UTC and both heats have been completed according to program.
Twice, the winners were Brett Burvill/Max Puttman AUS extending their lead on 11 points. Jörg Steiner/Michael Gloor SUI on the solid 2nd place have a 13 points' advantage on the 3rd-ranked Estela Jentsch/Daniel Brown GER.

Tornado World Championship 2019 - Takapuna NZL - Day 4

Halftime at the Tornado World Championship in New Zealand after yesterday's two races. Today is lay day in Auckland. Despite of a disqualification, Brett Burvill/Max Putman AUS are staying on top of the rankings with a 6 points' lead on Jörg Steiner/Michael Gloor SUI. On the 3rd place follow Estela Jentsch, age 16, with Daniel Brown GER as crew.

Tornado - World Championship 2019 - Takapuna NZL - Day 2

The World Championship of the former Olympic Tornado Class began yesterday on Hauraki Bay off Auckland NZL with two races.
Finishing twice on top, Brett Burvill/Max Puttman AUS have taken the lead ahead of Rex and Brett Sellars NZL and Zdenek Pavlis/Michaela Pavlisova CZE.
