OK-Dinghy - World Championship 2019 - Wakatere NZL - Final results, Ferrell and Bland USA 100th/110th

This morning UTC, the OK Dinghy World Championship 2019 was concluded on Auckland Bay with another two races. Inspite of mediocre results, the triple Olympian Dan Slater NZL defended his overall lead ahead of Freddy Lööf SWE on the 2nd place 4 points behind. Bronze went to Josh Armit NZL. The America's Cup veteran and double Olympic Medalist Rod Davies NZL finished 9th. Peter Ferrell USA is 100th, James Bland USA 110th.

 OK-Dinghy - World Championship 2019 - Wakatere NZL - Day 3 This morning UTC, the two races on the program today have already been completed on Hauraki Bay in Auckland. In moderate winds, the winners were Freddy Lööf SWE and Dan Slater NZL. Slater has extended his overall lead on Josh Armit NZL to 9 points. Only 2 points behind Armit follow Andrew Philipps NZL and Freddy Lööf SWE at equal points.

 OK-Dinghy - World Championship 2019 - Wakatere NZL, Frissell USA OCS This morning UTC, the OK-Dinghy World Championship began on Hauraki Bay in Auckland NZL. Only one race could be sailed in very light winds, ending with a triple Kiwi win by Andrew Philipps NZL ahead of Dan Slater NZL and Luke O'Conell NZL. On rank 4 followed the three-times Olympic medalist Freddy Lööf SWE. The Olympic medalist and America's-Cupper Rod Davies NZL on rank 8 is the best of the Master category. Peter Frissell USA was disqualified after a premature start, as many others of the 115 entrants.
