After a week with mostly fresh winds, the first five Medal Races were sailed in a light to moderate breeze of 8-10kn yesterday. Today, the remaining five classes will held their crucial final race. The RS:X windsurfers, the Finns and the 49ersFX remained ashore. The Olympic Classes Worldcup Final will begin in Marseille today on the Olympic waters of 2024. The top-30 of the World Ranking Lists are qualified, but only 183 of the 300 invited will attend this Grand Final, considered by the organising World Sailing staff as their 'top event'. In addition to the 10 Olympic events, the Kiteboarders, Olympic Class for 2024, will participate.
