 Figaro 3 - La Solitaire - Dieppe FRA - Final results, Richomme FRA wins the 50th edition of this single-handed race leading over 2'000 miles With the finish of leg 4 in Dieppe FRA, the 50th edition of the Solitaire du Figaro - considered the ‘unofficial world championship’ of solo offshore sailing - came to an end. Eric Peron FRA arrived first with a 40sec advantage on Armel Le Cléac'h FRA. ----- In the overall rankings, Yoann Richomme FRA remained on top 1 hour 14 minutes ahead of Gildas Mahé FRA. Anthony Marchand FRA followed as 3rd. This was the second Solitaire victory of Richomme after 2016. Justine Mettraux SUI, two-times Volvo Ocean Race sailor and member of the Sally Barkow USA Magenta Project , finished leg 4 as 33rd. On rank 18 overall, she is the best-ranked woman among the 47 participants, ahead of the Vendée-Globe veterans Jérémy Beyou FRA (rank 20), Loick Peyron FRA (24) or Alain Gautier FRA (30). ----- The 47 solo skippers on their 36-foot Foiling Figaro 3, including six women, have been sailing the 2019 course of over 2,000 miles between Nantes, Kinsale (Ireland), Roscoff and Dieppe, the longest in the races history, single-handed unassisted during over 14 days on the water.

The Vendée Globe routiniers Armel Le Cléac'h FRA and Yann Eliès FRA are neck and neck ahead in this 4th and last leg of the race. Loick Peyron FRA follows 0,5nm behind. Figaro 3 - La Solitaire - Baie de Morlaix FRA - Leg 3 - Final results, leading trio with Marchand FRA as winner over 8h ahead of rest of the fleet

 Figaro 3 - La Solitaire - Baie de Morlaix FRA - Leg 3 - Final results, leading trio with Marchand FRA as winner over 8h ahead of rest of the fleet Yesterday, leg 3 of the Figaro Solitaire ended in Northern Brittany FRA after a difficult race influenced by very variable conditions with light unconstant winds and strong currents. The leading trio Anthony Marchand FRA, Gildas Mahé FRA and Alexis Loison FRA finished 8 hours before the bulk of the fleet and moved obviously considerably forward in the overall rankings. Yoann Richomme FRA remains on top 90min ahead of Gildas Mahé. Alexis Loison FRA on rank 3 is 2h 22min back. The final leg to be started on Saturday will decide on the final outcome. ----- Justine Mettraux SUI was never really in the race and finished on rank 38, two ranks behind the Vendée Globe winner Armel Le Cléac'h FRA ....  Figaro 3 - La Solitaire - Leg 3 - Day 3, the leading trio finishes this morning UTC The leading trio with Anthony Marchand FRA on first 18nm before the finish line in Roscoff FRA will finish the race during this morning UTC. But Gildas Mahé FRA is only 0,6nm behind and also Alexis Loison FRA as 3rd with a 5,4nm backlog have chances to win leg 3.  Figaro 3 - La Solitaire - Baie de Morlaix FRA - Leg 3 - Day 1, slow start with the leading trio within 0,2nm Yesterday, 46 of the originally 47 solo skippers started on Morlaix Bay in Northern Brittany FRA to leg 3 of the Figaro 3 Solitaire over 450nm to the English South Coast and back. The light winds and the strong tide current make the course very challenging. ----- This morning UTC, the fleet was still very close together with Gildas Mahé FRA leading 0,1nm ahead of Pierre Leboucher FRA, and another 0,1nm back Adrien Hardy FRA on 3rd.  Figaro 3 - La Solitaire - Baix de Morlaix FRA - Leg 2 - Final results, Hardy FRA winner, Richomme FRA extends overall lead After 2 days and 22 hours, Adrien Hardy FRA crossed the finish line of the Figaro Soltaire leg two in Northern Brittany FRA 5 minutes ahead of the leg one winner Yoann Richomme FRA who extended his overall lead to over 2 hours. Pierre Leboucher FRA and Armel Le Cléac'h FRA followed on the ranks 2 and 3. The Figaro 3 fleet was again closely packed with the ranks 2 to 6 separated by 30 minutes only. ----- The best woman Justine Mettraux SUI finished on rank 20 and advanced on the 9th place in the overall rankings, 5 minutes ahead of the Vendée Globe legend Michel Desjoyeaux FRA. ----- The start to leg 3 will be given on Sunday. ----- The ranking list and the news (in English or French).

On rank 2 with a 2,6nm backlog followed Xavier Macaire FRA, another mile back was the Vendée Globe winner Armel Le Cléac'h FRA on 3rd. The leg one winner Yoann Richomme FRA had taken the lead this morning UTC, 4nm ahead of Armel Le Cléac'h FRA. Well positioned was again the first woman Justine Mettraux SUI on rank 13. Pierre Leboucher FRA finished another 2 minutes behind on 3rd. The Vendée-Globe-Champions moved up in the ranks toward the end of leg 1: Loick Peron FRA finished 6th, Michel Desjoyeaux FRA 8th, Armel Le Cléac'h FRA 11th and Alan Gautier FRA 13th.
