29er, 420. Laser Radial, Nacra 15, RS:X-Windsurfer - Youth Worlds - Gdynia POL - Final results, two Gold Medal for USA and an excellent 3rd nations place

Laser Radial, Nacra 15, RS:X-Windsurfer - Youth Worlds - Gdynia POL - Final results, two Gold Medal for USA and an excellent 3rd nations place The races of the last day only changed the rankings of the Boys Lasers as the leading duo Zac Littlewood AUS and Tytus Butowski POL engaged in a close matchrace finished down in the fleet letting Ygit Citak TUR grasp the title with a 5th race rank. Littlewood AUS and Butowski POL had to content themselves with Silver and Bronze. ----- No change in the Radial Girls with Chiara Benini ITA as winner in front of Ana Moncada ESP and Shai Kakon ISR. ----- In the Boys 29ers , Matthias Berthet/Aleksander Franks NOR finished on top ahead of Ville Korhonen/Edvard Bremer FIN and Archie Cropley/Max Paul AUS. ----- A smashing victory celebrated Berta Puig/Isabella Casaretto USA in the Girls 29ers followed by Antonia and Victoria Schultheis MLT on 2nd and Martina Carlsson/Amanda Ljunggren SWE on 3rd. ----- Behind the premature winners in the Nacra 15 , Will Cooley/Rebecca Hancock AUS, Titouan Petard/Marion Declef FRA secured Silver ahead of Silas Mühle/Levke Möller GER with Bronze. ----- In the Boys 420s , Sposato/Centrone ITA and Sade/Homri ISR earned Silver and Bronze behind the premature winners Seb Menzies/Blake McGlashan NZL. ----- The Girls 420 World Champions were know prematurely as well with Madeline Hawkins/Yumi Yoshiasu USA taking Gold, followed by Neus Ballester/Andrea Perello ESP and Theresa Steinlein/Lisa Plettner GER. ----- The duel of the Boys RS:X windsurfers went in favour of Fabian Pianazza FRA over Nicolo Renna ITA. Bronze went to Liam Segev ISR.  29er, 420, Laser Radial, Nacra 15, RS:X - Youth Worlds - Gdynia POL - Day 4, Gold for the US 420 Girls, and Gold on the table for US 29er Girls as well In three events, the Youth World Champions are known before the last races of today: Madeline Hawkins/Yumi Yoshiyasu USA in the 420-Girls, Will Cooley/Rebecca Hancock AUS in the Nacra 15 and Seb Menzies/ Blake McGlashan NZL in the 420 Boys can not be overtaken. ----- The fight for Silver and Bronze remains close in the 420 Boys, as the ranks 2 to 8 are separated by 12 points only. ----- The 420 Girls on the ranks 2 to 7 within 14 points keep also an option for a Medal. ----- In the Nacra 15, Petard/Declef FRA and Mühle/Möller GER 2 points behind will duel for Silver and Bronze. ----- Three races will be held in the 29ers, but Matthias Berthet/Aleksander Franks NOR will hardly be reached with a 28 point lead. ----- The victory of Berta Puig/Isabella Casaretto USA in the 29er Girls 16 points ahead is hardly in danger. ----- In the Laser Radial Boys, the situation remains close.  29er, 420, Laser Radial, Nacra 15, RS:X - Youth World Championship - Gdynia POL - Day 3, USA girls on top in the 420 and 29ers Seb Menzies/Blake McGlashan NZL enjoyed the fresher breeze around 15kn on the third day of the Youth Worlds and extended their lead on the 2nd-ranked Sade/Homri ISR in the 420 Boys to 13 points. ----- Madeline Hawkings/Yumi Yoshiyasu USA continue to dominate the 420 Girls increasing their advantage on 18 points. Theresa Steinlein/Lina Plettner GER on rank 2 are only 3 points in front of Natascha and Samira Rast SUI jumping on the 3rd place with a race win. ----- In the 29ers Boys, the defending champions Matthias Berthet/Aleksander Franks NOR have now a 16 point lead on Archie Cropley/Max Paul AUS. ----- In the 29er Girls , Martina Carlsson/Amanda Ljunggren SWE are the new leaders ahead of Berta Puig/Isabella Cassereto USA just one point back. ----- With two race wins, Silas Mühle/Levke Möller GER increased their advantage in the Nacra 15 on Will Cooley/Rebecca Hancock AUS to 5 points.  29er, 420, Laser Radial, Nacra 15, RS:X-Windsurfer - Youth World Championship 2019 - Gdynia POL - Day 2, seven North Americans in top 10 Good sailing conditions prevailed yesterday in Poland and all fleets completed the full program. ----- In the 29er Girls, Antonia and Victoria Schultheis MLT have taken the lead ahead of Berta Puig/Isabella Casaretto USA. ----- In the 29er Boys, the defending champions Matthias Berthet/Aleksander Franks NOR are on top after 6 races.  29er, 420, Laser Radial, Nacra 15, RS:X-Windsurfer - Youth World Championship 2019 - Gdynia POL - Day 1, Nelson Connor USA 2nd Laser The 2019 Youth World Sailing Championship began yesterday in Poland in a light 7-10kn breeze, allowing only some of the classes to sail their first races. ----- The 420 Boys completed two races with Achille Casco/Eliot Schick SUI, ranks 3 and 5, taking the lead. On the ranks 2 and 3 followed Seb Menzies/Blake McGlashan NZL and Martin Wizner/Pedro Almeira ESP - the duo fighting for the 420 Worlds title in Portugal last week. ----- The 420 Girls did not race. ----- In the 29er-Boys, the full program with 3 races was completed. Ville Korhonen/Edvard Bremer FIN are first ahead of Mathias Berthet/Aleksander Franks NOR and Marius Westerlind/Olle Aronsson SWE. ----- The 29er Girls did not sail. ----- The Lasers Radial completed one heat in both genders. In the Boys, Otto Dahlberg FIN leads ahead of Connor Nelson USA and Tytus Butowski POL. ----- In the Radial Girls, Chiara Benini ITA ahead of Manon Peyre FRA and Simone Chen SGP are in front. ----- In the Nacras 15, Silas Mühle/Levke Möller GER and Will Cooley/Rebecca Hancock AUS share the lead after two races.
