ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 European Championship - Puerto Pollensa ESP - Final results

 ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 European Championship - Puerto Pollensa ESP - Final results On the final day of the U21 European Championships, it took a while for the wind to pick up, but a final race was sailed in 8-13 knots. ----- Lilly-May Niezobitowska POL won by a large margin. Claudia Adan ESP moved up to second place thanks to winning the day, and Emma Mattivi ITA took the bronze medal. Viktoria Jedlinska SUI advanced on the 32nd rank thanks to a 3rd place finish - the ranking list ILCA 6. ----- In the men's event, Enrico Tanferno ITA came out on top with a narrow one-point lead over Ole Schweckendiek GER, while Rem Pulci ISR moved up to 3rd place at the end. Boris Hirsch SUI finished the European Championship in 55th place in the Goldfleet - the ranking ILCA 7. ----- The final report.

 ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 European Championship - Puerto Pollensa ESP - Day 5 Only after a delay one race each could be completed yesterday in around 10 knots of wind. Enrico Tanferna ITA took the lead in ILCA 7. Ole Schweckendiek GER remains 2 points behind in the title race on today's final day. Lorenzo Meyer FRA is already 11 points behind in 3rd place. Boris Hirsch SUI is now 60th in the Goldfleet - the ranking ILCA 7. In the women's ILCA 6, Lilly-May Niezabitowska POL is already 31 points ahead of Emma Mattivi ITA. A further 10 points behind her is Claudia Adan ESP 3rd, Viktoria Jedlinska SUI is now 34th - the ILCA 6 ranking. The daily report.

 ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 European Championship - Puerto Pollensa ESP - Day 4 With 8-15kn there were also ideal conditions yesterday, both fleets were able to finish 3 races each. The ILCA 7 began with their final races in Gold and Silverfleet. Ole Schweckendiek GER extended his lead to 11 points with a race win, Enrico Tanferna ITA moved up to 2nd place as the day's best (14/8/6), Lorenzo Mayer FRA is now 3rd, Boris Hirsch SUI improved to 58th place - the ILCA 7 ranking list. In ILCA 6, Lilly-May Niezobitowska POL took the lead with a 33-point advantage over Emma Mattivi ITA, while Eve Macmahon IRL dropped back to third place after a poor day (48/33/12).  ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 European Championship - Puerto Pollensa ESP - Day 3 Conditions remained moderate on the third day of the U21 European Championships, with both fleets finishing two races each. This means that the qualifications for Gold and Silverfleet in the ILCA 7 have been finalised. ----- Ole Schweckendiek GER maintained his lead with another race win. Lorenzo Mayer FRA is already 12 points behind in 2nd place. Theodor Middelthon NOR is now 3rd. Boris Hirsch SUI improved to 66th thanks to a 6th place in his group and is therefore just in the Goldfleet - the ILCA 7 ranking. ----- In the ILCA 6, Eve McMahon IRL continues to lead. Lilly-May Niezabitowska POL moved up to 2 points as the day's best (ranks 9/1). Marga Perello ESP follows in third place. Alina Shapovalova UKR, who lives in Switzerland, is a good 8th. Marga Perello ESP follows in second place, 7 points behind. Viktoria Jedlinska SUI is 25th of the 65 participants - the ILCA 6 ranking list. ----- In the ILCA 7, Ole Schweckendiek GER moved to the top thanks to a 2nd race rank. Bartosz Andrzejak POL follows in 2nd place, 7 points behind, and Enrico Tanferna ITA is 3rd.  ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 European Championship - Puerto Pollensa ESP - Day 1 Good conditions with sunshine and 10-14 knots of wind at the start of the U21 European Championships off Mallorca meant that two races could be completed. ----- In the men's ILCA 7, Rem Pulci ISR took the lead (1/5), followed 4 points behind by Eric Norlen SWE and Theodor Middelthon NOR on equal points. Boris Hirsch SUI is in 72nd of the 137 participants - the ILCA 7 ranking. ----- In the ILCA 6, Eve McMahon IRL and Emma Mattivi ITA share the lead on equal points. Four points behind them, Lilly-May Niezabitowska POL and Marga Perello ESP are tied in 3rd place.  ILCA 6 & 7 - U21 European Championship - Puerto Pollensa ESP The U21 European Championship of the Olympic ILCA classes starts today in Mallorca with the first races. In ILCA 7, 136 men from 33 nations are at the start, including Boris Hirsch SUI and Timo Coupek SUI. In the women's ILCA 6 there are 65 participants from 26 nations, including Victoria Jedlinska SUI - the entry lists. Yesterday's programme included the practice race and the opening ceremony - the Facebook page with videos and pictures and the event website.
