Rain and a 10-12 kn north wind also characterized the final day of the Optimist meeting, with two races completed: Matthias Krauss FRA moved into the lead, Manuel Bragança BRA was beaten by 2 points. Hugo Fletcher GBR won both final races in the Goldfleet and moved up to 3rd place. Adele Ramm DEN was the best girl in 7th place. Two races were sailed, and the younger Cadetti finished one race. ----- The first leader of the Juniores is Alexander Forssen SWE one point ahead of Mehmet Budak TUR, a point behind is Maria-Anna Makri GRE as best girl. As every year, the Lake Garda Meeting of the Optimists began yesterday with the parade of participants across the little historic town of Riva - this year there are 1167 participants from 46 nations on the starting line, including Mexico, Hong Kong or the Philippines.
