18 Footer - Spring Championship 2018 - Sydney AUS - Races 5 & 6

Last Sunday, we informed on the outcome of the 18-footer Spring Championship on Sydney Harbour over livestream. Two races were held, initially in moderate winds, freshening during the second heat. The race winners were 'Asko Appliances' and 'Finport'.
Most teams opted for the larger rig, but the situation became critical for many during the second race, when the smaller rig would have been the right choice. Spectacular scenes such as the 'frontflip' of 'Pittwater Marine' (see photo) occurred.
