The Lasers sailed two races at the Gamagori JPN Worldcup event this morning UTC in light unconstant winds.
In the Lasers Standard, Sam Meech NZL is the new leader 3 points ahead of the World Champion Pavlos Kontides CYP, ready to attack for victory in the last race tomorrow. Lorenzo Chiavarini GBR on the 3rd place is 26 points behind.
In the Lasers Radial, the leader Anne-Marie Rindom DEN sailed their worst result (rank 26) in the first race of the day and dropped on rank 3. New on top is now Vasileia Karachaliou GRE 7 points ahead of Emma Plaeschart BEL on 2nd.

Two races are left for tomorrow. However, the meteo announces the approach of a typhoon with wind speeds of over 200 kmh and big waves and there might be a premature end of the Worldcup event. Wait and see ...
