After the lay day, race 4 on the Star World Championship on Biscayne Bay was held in a light 7-8 kn wind blowing in from the southeast, and the overall leading boats battled again on top of the 73 boats' fleet.
Winners of the day were Diego Negri/Sergio Lambertenghi ITA reducing the gap on the still leading Augie Diaz USA/Bruno Prada BRA, 3rd in yesterday's race. Thanks to a 2nd race rank, the Finn Olympia Silver Medalist (Barcelona 92) Brian Ledbetter with Joshua Revkin USA as crew moved up on rank 3. Today, after race 5, the discard will become effective, and some important changes in the overall rankings can be expected. Out of the race for the title are the favorites Stanjek/Kleen GER with the ranks bfd/1/22/23.
