 2.4m, Skud18, Sonar  Paralympic World Championship 2016  Medemblik NED  Day 2
The light wind on day two provoked changes in the overall rankings of the Paralympics World Championship 2016, and only Damien Séguin FRA succeeded to defend his first place in the 2.4m keelboat inspite of the ranks 5 and 4 yesterday after the two bullets on the opening day. Matt Bugg AUS stayed on rank 2 but he lost some points on Séguin. The day winner Heiko Kröger GER moved up on rank 3. Dee Smith USA, who did not compete in the first two races, is now 23rd (day ranks 4 and 19). Peter Eagar CAN is 26th. In the Skud-18, the surprise team Monika Gibes/Piotr Chichocki POL are the new leaders with the day ranks 2 and 1. Alexandra Rickham/Nikki Birrell GBR on the 2nd place are 4 points behind. John McRoberts/Jackie Gay CAN are 3rd, Sarah Skeels/Cindy Walker USA 8th. In the Sonars, the new leader is Alphonsus Doerr USA with his team, ranks 1 and 3 yesterday replacing John Robertson GBR and his team, ranks 7/7, on top. Finishing twice on 2nd, Lasse Klötzing GER and his team moved up on the 3rd position. Paul Tingley CAN and his team are 10th.
