 2.4m, Skud18, Sonar  Paralympic Games 2016  Rio de Janeiro BRA  Day 2, two CAN team on 2nd, Smith USA 3rd
Very light winds and a strong current made sailing challenging on the second day of the Paralympics on Guanabara Bay. The Skud-18 and Sonars completed one race, the 2.4 m race had to be abandoned.
Daniel Fitzgibbon/Liesl Tesch AUS, the Skud-18 defending Paralympic Champions, confirmed their ambitions with another race win. John McRoberts /Jackie Gay CAN stayed on the 2nd place. New on rank 3 are Alexandra Rickham/Niki Birrell GBR. Colin Harrison AUS and his team remained on top of the Sonars. New on rank 2 is - thanks to the race win - Paul Tingley CAN. Vasilis Christoforou GRE follows on the 3rd position. Leader in the 2.4m without race yesterday is Helena Lucas GBR. Dee Smith USA is 3rd.
