Olympic Worldcup 2017 - Semaine Olympique - Hyères FRA - Day 1

Moderate winds around 10 kn prevailed yesterday on Hyères Bay during the first races of the second 2017 Worldcup event, and the light-wind specialists had their day.
Mantis/Kagialis GRE lead in the 470 men one point ahead of Xammar/Rodriguez ESP. Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI are first in the 470 women 3 points in front of Silvia Mas-Depares/Patricia Cantero ESP.
The skiffs sailed 3 races. Leaders in the 49ers are Klaus and Iago Lange ARG, and in the 49ersFX, the Olympic Champions Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA are on top.
The Finn leader is Ben Cornish GBR ahead of Nicolas Heiner NED and Tom Ramshaw CAN. The best Nacra 17 team are Moana Vaireaux/Manon AudinetFRA ahead of Lin Cenholt/Christian Lübeck DEN.
A Swiss lead also in the RS:X men windsurfers where Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI won 2 of the 3 races. Two race wins also for Noga Geller ISR on the first place of the RS:X women windsurfers.
