Windsurfing PWA World Tour Slalom Hvide Sande DEN Day 5
A strom depression over Denmark brought rain and an up to 50 kn wind yesterday and the two Eliminations were clearly an affair of the big-breeze specialists.
In the men's, it was - obviously - Antoine Albeau FRA who finished twice on top and replaced Mateo Iachino ITA on the first place of the interim's rankings. In the women, Delphine Cousin FRA was twice on first reducing the gap on the still leading Sarah-Quita Offringa NED/Aruba to 0,7 pts. The race for the Worlds title remains open, as Offringa need a victory in Denmank to grasp the Slalom title prematurely. If not, the crucial competition will be the last event in New Caledonia.
