Yesterday, at the World Sailing Gala Dinner in Mexico, the World Sailors of the Year 2017 were proclaimed. The America's Cup winner Peter Burling NZL takes the title in the men, while the Laser Radial Olympic and World Champion Marit Bouwmeester NED was elected in the women.
