It was quite windy yesterday (16-20kn) during the remaining five Miami Olympic Classes Worldcup Medal Races. The leaders per class had mostly clear advantages before the starts and remained on top at the end of the day. The interest was therefore on the remaining Silver and Bronze Medals.
Tina Mrak/Veronika Macarol SLO finished first in the 470 women ahead of Skrzypulec/Mrozek POL and Kondo/Yoshioka JPN. 27 points is the lead of Luke Patience/Chris Grube GBR on Kevin Peponnet/Jérémy Mion FRA in the 470 men. The Olympic Champion Giles Scott GBR remains the clear number one in the Finns, winning the Medal Race and extending his lead in the overall rankings on 32 points. Caleb Paine USA replaced Alican Kaynar TUR on rank 2.
