Europe - Youth & Masters European Championship - Arco ITA - Final results

A great turnout and typical Lake Garda midsummer conditions prevailed for last week’s Juniors & Masters European Championships. After 9 races, Kristian Medina DEN won the Juniors title (61 participants / 10 nations) 15 points ahead of Erik Lindberg SWE, bronze went to Jonas Ullmann DEN. Among the Women Juniors (35 participants / 9 nations) Hanna Johnsson SWE won ahead of Marie-Kristine Medina DEN and Alexandra Wiking SWE. In the Masters fleet (42 participants / 9 nations), Sören Johnson DEN was tied with Gintare Scheidt LTU, but thanks to a higher number of race wins she beat the 2008 Laser Olympic medalist.
