Light winds delayed the second half of the Medal Races yesterday, and at the end of the day, only the Lasers Standard and Radial completed their races (see separate news). The 470s and Finns remained ashore.
For the first time, a Japanese 470 men team won a Worldcup Regatta with Keiju Okada/Jumpei Hokazono JPN as best of the powerful JPN 470 delegation (4 boats in the first 6 !!) shining on the 2020 Olympic home waters. Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS and Daichi Takayama/Kimihiko Imamura JPN followed on the ranks 2 and 3. In the 470 women, Afrodite Zegers/Anneloes Van Veen NED finished first ahead of Ai Kondo/Miho Yoshioka JPN and Benedetta Di Salle/Alessandra Dubbini ITA.
In the Finns, Nicholas Heiner NED is on top ahead of Giles Scott GBR and Ed Wright GBR.

The final results of the North American teams:
• Finn (2): Caleb Paine USA 13th, Luke Muller USA 15th
• 470 M (1): Stu McNay/ Dave Hughes USA 5th
