To catch up with the program, two races were held at the Star Worlds in Oxford MD in an intial 14kn breeze, slackening on 6kn during the day.
With the day ranks 1 and 4, Jorge Zarif/Guilherme de Almeida BRA have taken the lead, as the previous first Eidvind Melleby/Joshua Revkin NOR temporarily lost some rank after a disqualification. Performing well are alse Paul Cayard/Arthur Lopes USA on rank 2 with a 6 points' deficit. The second-best team of the dayy were Hubert Merkelbach/Markus Koy GER new on rank 3. Expecting the hurricane 'Michael', the boats were taken ashore. Fresh winds are forecast to fill in by this morning domination the conditions on the Chesapeak Bay, but the wind should decrease by noon allowing to resume racing.
