The Bacardi Invitational Regatta on Biscayne Bay continued yesterday with three races sailed again in fresh winds.
With an impressive 1/2/1 row of results, Joel Ronning USA and his team took the overall lead in the J/70s with a 4 point advantage on Carlo Alberini ITA. Brian Porter USA defended his first place in the Melges 24, but Andrea Posi ITA reduced his backlog on 2 points. In the Viper640, Geoff Fargo USA remains on rank 1 with Mary Ewenson USA 2 points back on 2nd. Canadian is the close duel on top of the Flying Tigers among Geoff Becker CAN and Brice Dunnwoodie CAN.
