Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA dominated the 49erFX fleet again during the two light-wind races yesterday and will go to the Medal Race with a 19 point lead, with a safe hand on the title. Bekkering/Duetz NED remain on rank 2 with a 7 point advantage on the tied Bobeck/Tengström SWE and Naess/ Roeningen NOR on the ranks 3 and 4. Paris Henken/Anna Tobias Tunnicliffe USA defended rank 10 and qualified for the Medal Race. Alexandra Tenhove/Mariah Millen CAN are on rank 15. The 49erFX ranking list and the 49erFX daily news.

The 49ers will start to another qualification race this Sunday morning. Inspite of sailing their discard yesterday - rank 19 - Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL remain on top with a 17 point lead. Fletcher/Sign GBR moved up on 2nd, Botin/Lopez ESP follow one point behind on rank 3. . Ian Barrows/Mitchell Kiss USA are on rank 25, William Jones/Evan DePaul CAN remain on rank 64. The situation remains fully open in the Nacra 17 after the 3 races of yesterday with Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA only 4 points ahead of Ben Saxton/Nicola Boniface GBR (yesterday 2/1/2). Another 2 points behind are John Gimson/Anna Burnet GBR. Astonishing Nathan Outteridge/Hyalee Outteridge AUS jump on rank 10.
