 Olympic Test Event  Enoshima JPN  Day 3, progress for the North Americans with five top10 interim results
Progress was noted for the North American sailors again on the third day of the Olympic test event in Enoshima JPN. ----- Stu McNay/Dave Hughes advanced on rank 6 in the 470 men, Stephanie Roble/Maggie Shea entered the top-10 with rank 8 in the 49ersFX, Christopher Barnard is 9th in the Lasers Standard and Erika Reineke on 9th in the Lasers Radial remains in the top-10 as well. ----- To be mentioned the excellent performance of Sarah Douglas CAN jumping on rank 2 in the Lasers Radial. ----- Please find here the full list of all North American results and the US Sailing Team report. ----------------------------- The top-ranks per class after day three are as follows: ----- In the 470 men, Matthew Belcher/Will Ryan AUS extended their lead on 5 points. ----- In the 470 women, Ai Kondo/Miho Yoshioka JPN have taken the lead. ----- As best of the day with the ranks 2/3/2, Jesper Stalheim SWE took the lead in the Lasers Standard. ----- Leader change in the Lasers Radial with Emma Plaesschart BEL, best of the day, on top. ----- As best of the day, Beresz Zsombor HUN moved up on first in the Finns. Finishing 3/2/2, Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL were the best in the 49ers. ----- In the 49ersFX, Charlotte Dobson/Sakia Tidey GBR increased their point advantage. 4 races were held by the Nacras 17 with Rugero Tia/Caterina Banti ITA on 1st controlling the fleet. ----- Yunxiu Lu CHN has now an 11 point lead in the RS:X women. ----- Chinese lead in the RS:X men as well with Mengfan Gao CHN on top. ----- Good sailing conditions with an up to 15kn breeze prevailed yesterday in Japan, but on the challenging, tactically difficult courses, some surprises occurred. ----- All ranking lists and the daily news.
