Olympic Test Event - Enoshima JPN - Day 4/Part 1 - First medals decided
Wednesday, August 21, 2019
In Enoshima, the skiffs, windsurfers and Nacras 17 have finished their qualifications for the Medal Races of today. The first medallists are already known: ----- Yunxiu Lu CHN, leading in the RS:X women windsurfers by 17 points has a medal guaranteed. Only Katy Spychakov ISR could replace her on top theoretically. ----- There will probably be a Chinese victory in the RS:X men windsurfers as well, as Mengfan Gao CHN has a solid 16 point lead. ----- In the Nacra-17 catamarans, Ruggero Tita/Caterina Banti ITA are only 2 points ahead of John Gimson/Anna Burnett GBR. ----- In 49ers, the Olympic champions Peter Burling/Blair Tuke NZL lead with 13 points and the Gold Medal is almost in their hands. ----- In the 49erFX, their will be a fierce duel between Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA and Charlotte Dobson/Saskia Tidey GBR leading by one point only. ----- All rankings.
