 High activity in Australia with North Americans  World Cup in Miami  Start to the European Season
Sail Melbourne 2020 begins tomorrow in the smoke of the bushfires in Australia. In a prelude to the Laser World Championship at the same venue, the full elite of the Class will be starting, among them the Paige Railey USA and Sarah Douglas CAN in the Radials as well as Charlie Buckingham USA and Chris Barnard USA in the Standards. ----- The 5o5s sail the Australian National Championship with MikeHolt/RobWoelfel USA. ----- Tom Ramshaw CAN participates in the small but competitive Finn fleet. ----- The lists of participants. ---------- On Monday, the start to the Miami World Cup will be given with 7 of the 10 Olympic classes present. However, only the the 470s are represented with top participants. The North Americans fight for Olympic Nation berths in the various Classes. ----- The entry lists, the official World Sailing preview and the US Sailing Team preview . ---------- The European sailracing season 2020 begins today with .... the Ski giant-slalom in Auron (80km inland of Nizza) of the traditional International Ski-Yachting Antibes FRA. Sailing on the Mediterranean Sea will begin tomorrow with the 420s, Finns, Fireballs, Nacra 15 catamarans and Lasers, the latter with the first Act of the 2020 Laser Euro Master Cup.
