On the approach to Cap Leeuwin at the southwestern point of Australia, the leading duo was slowed down by decreasing winds. Charlie Dalin FRA ('Apivia') is now only 71nm ahead of Thomas Ruyant FRA ('LinkedOut'), and only another 13nm behind follows Yannick Bestaven FRA ('Maitre Coq') in 3rd place. Damien Séguin FRA ('Groupe Apicil')in 4th place, 211nm behind as the best non-Foiler, leads the tightly packed chasing fleet. ----- After the failure of his two on-board computers, Fabrice Amedeo FRA ('Art & Fenêtres') had to abandon the race yesterday as sixth to leave the Vendée early. ----- At the backend of the fleet, the former top favorite Jérémy Béyou FRA ('Charal'), who started 7 days late after a repair return, has left the last place to Ari Huusela FIN ('Stark'). ----- The race tracker and the reports.
