After 55 days and 2 hours, Yannick Bestaven FRA ('Maître Coq') was the first to pass Cape Horn yesterday afternoon UTC. Charlie Dalin FRA ('Apivia'), 144nm behind, reached the Atlantic Ocean in the last night as well. Next to round the Cape tonight will be Thomas Ruyant FRA ('LinkedOut') and Damien Séguin FRA ('Groupe Apicil'), 479 and 525nm behind Bestaven. The closely together sailing chasing group led by Benjamin Dutreux FRA ('OMIA') is 126nm back. Isabelle Joschke FRA/GER ('MASCF') follows 64nm behind Dutreux in 8th, and Boris Herrmann GER ('Seaexplorer') only 3nm back is 9th. ----- The race tracker and the reports.
