Today at 11h UTC, the start to the 470 World Championship in the South of Portugal will be given with 29 men's teams, 27 women's teams and, for the first time, 20 mixed teams competing. US Sailing will be represented by a Mixed, three Women and two Men teams. While this Championship will be a final benchmark race for the already Olympia-selected Stu McNay/Dave Hughes, it is the crucial regatta for the three women teams to qualify for the unique available ticket for Tokyo.
