Olympic Games 2024 - Three events selected by World Sailing

After Word Sailing was asked by the International Olympic Committee to propose variants for the originally planned Mixed-2-Person Offshore Event, 26 (!) proposals were received by World Sailing by the end of April. The WS Board has selected three of them and will now present them to the Council for a vote: 1. instead of a mixed 470 regatta, the fleets should remain separated into men and women as before. 2. the mixed kite-surf event should also be gender-separated and 3. for the first time, team racing should become Olympic, sailed by mixed teams on ILCA6 (Lasers Radial).
