Diego Negri/Sergio Lambertenghi ITA added two more bullets and were the clear winners of the event ahead of Xavier Rohart/Stéphane Pontre FRA 3 points behind. Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA/Frithjof Kleen GER finished 3rd.

The traditional Starboat Christmas Race 2015 in Nizza FRA, the first of four events of the European Winter Series at the Côte d'Azur, began yesterday with three races. The moderate temperatures also over the land prevented the usual winter morning thermal breeze to build up, but nevertheless, two races were completed in a 10 kn wind. Another race was added in the afternoon with an up to 12 kn seabreeze.
