470, Laser, F-18-Cat, RS:X-Windsurfing - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP - Final results

 470, Laser, F-18-Cat, RS:X-Windsurfing - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP - Final results Perfect conditions prevailed again on the last day of the Canary Olympic Week off Las Palmas ESP and another two races were completed by all fleets.
Last minute change in the Lasers Standard where Milivoj Dukic MNE (Montenegro) replaced the local favorite Joaquin Blanco ESP on top of the rankings. Joel Rodriguez ESP follows on the 3rd place. Ranks 1 and 2 for the Netherlands in the Lasers Radial with Maxime Jonkers NED and Judith Engberts NED. Maria Erdi HUN follows on the 3rd place.
Helge and Christian Sach GER made everything clear in the F-18-catamarans with a top performance on the last day. Winning 11 of the 12 races, Onan Barreiros/Juan Curbelo ESP dominated the small 470 fleet.

 470, Laser, F-18-Cat, RS:X-Windsurfing - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP - Day 3 All classes completed three races each at the Canary Olympic Week off Las Palmas.
Joaquin Blanco ESP defended his lead in the Lasers Standard, but the man of the day was Milivoj Dukic MNE with the ranks 1/4/1 who moved up on the 2nd place overall. Niels Broekhuizen NED on rank 3 is already 21 points behind.
The new leader in the Lasers Radial is Maxime Jonker NED, but Maria Erdi HUN is only one point behind.
The F18-Cats are in a close German competition with Helge + Christian Sach GER leading 2 points ahead of Wolf/Said GER and 4 points in front of Schütz/Odefey GER. Barreiros/Curbelo ESP dominate in the 470s with 8 wins in 9 races.

 470, Laser, F-18-Cat, RS:X-Windsurfing - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP - Day 2 Optimal conditions again off Las Palmas with a 12-15 kn wind, and all classes completed 3 races each yesterday.
Joaquin Blanco ESP is now the sole leader in the Lasers Standard 6 points ahead of Joel Rodriguez ESP. Niels Broekhuizen NED remains on 3rd. In the Laser Radial women is Maria Erdi HUN now on the
1st position one point ahead of Martina Reina ESP.

470, Laser, F-18-Cat, RS:X-Windsurfing - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP - Day 1

The Olympic Week in Las Palmas ESP began yesterday with two races. Dominators in the good-quality Laser fleets were local sailors.
In the Lasers Standard, the lead is shared by Jose Rodriguez ESP and Joaquin Blanco ESP. Karolis Januliolis LTU follows on 3rd. On top of the Lasers Radial women is Martina Reina ESP, the winner of both heats. Judit Engberts NED and Dewi Couvert NED are the first persuers. Alejandro Bethancourt ESP is first in the Radial men. Helge and Christian Sach GER lead in the small almost all-Germam F-18-Cats. Onan Barreiros/Juan Curbelo ESP booked three bullets in the 470s.

 Laser, F-18-Cat, 2.4m, RS:X-Windsurfer - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP Moderate winds between 12 and 15 kn shall prevail during the first races of the Canary Olympic Week today. With 42 participants from 18 nations, the Lasers Standard are the largest fleet. 45 female and male sailors from 11 nations are on the Laser Radial entry list.

Olympic Classes, F18-Catamaran - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP

 Olympic Classes, F18-Catamaran - Semana Olimpica Canaria - Las Palmas ESP Tomorrow Saturday begins the Canary Olympic Week in Las Palmas ESP with Lasers Radial and Standard, 470s, RS:X-Windsurfers, F18-catamarans and the Paralympic 2.4m keelboats. The main focus goes on the Lasers Standard, the largest fleet, as their European Championship 2016 will be at this venue as well. 12 nations, among them Guatemala and Japan, have registerd, but the final entry list has not yet been posted.
