 X-40-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series 2015 - Act 8 - Sydney AUS - Final results 'The Wave - Muscat' with Leigh McMillan GBR remained - as expected in our yesterday's news - on top of the rankings in the 8th and last Act of the Extreme Sailing-Series and is the outstanding winner of the 2015 Annual Championship. This is the third title for McMillan in the 9 years' history of the Class. 'SAP Sailing Team' with Jes Gram-Hansen DEN finished 2nd in Sydney, 'Red Bull' wihtRoman Hagara AUT 3rd. As from next season, starting in April in Perth AUS, the foiling GC32 catamarans will be used.

 X-40-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series 2015 - Act 8 - Sydney AUS - Final day At press time this morning, the last races of the final Extreme Sailing Series 2015 were still underway. Leigh McMillan GBR on his 'The Wave Muscat' defended his lead in the annual rankings in Sydney sufficiently and is already now the premature winner of the 2015 Tour. Rank 2 is still disputed, as 'Red Bull Sailng Team' with Roman Hagara AUT could reduce the backlog on 'SAP' with Les Gram Hansen DEN on 2 points.

 X-40-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series 2015 - Act 8 - Sydney AUS - Day 3 The wind on Sydney Harbour is back to normal after the stormy 30 kn on Friday with collisions, capsizes and equipment failures, and already 9 races were completed today in a moderate breeze. The teams on top are closely together and the final day tomorrow promises to be exciting. For the moment, 'The Wave - Muscat' with Leigh McMillan GBR is still in the lead 3 points ahead of 'SAP' with Jes Gram-Hansen DEN. The 'Red Bull Sailing Team' with Roman Hagara AUT is now on 3rd closing up the gap on the leading duo with two race wins today.

 X-40-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series 2015 - Act 8 - Sydney AUS - Day 2 Yesterday, penalties and race-ending collisions reduced the fleet of nine boats to just six and influenced the standings at the end of the day with 'SAP Extreme Sailing Team' and 'Oman Air' finishing first and second respectively.
Racing of day 2 is already on this morning at press closing and 10 heats have been completed. 'The Wave Muscat' with Leigh McMillan GBR leads in the interim's ranking 4 points ahead of 'SAP' with Jes Gram-Hansen DEN. The second Omani cat on 3rd with Stevie Morrison GBR is not far behind.
