No racing in Barcelona yesterday where light and circling winds prevailed. For today, three races are scheduled to keep up with the program, but the wind forecast is not very promising.
After four races completed so far, the clear leader is Josh Junior NZL 8 points ahead of Beresz Zsombor HUN. Pieter-Jan Postma NED follows on rank 3. Tom Ramshaw CAN is on rank 6, Zach Railey USA 12th and Caleb Paine USA 21st. The results, the daily news and the video of the day.

The International Finn Week in Cannes was concluded on Friday already and our yesterday's news are therefore final.
Laurent Montagut FRA is the winner in this year's regatta, reduced by two days because of too much wind, and this ahead of the favorite and Olympic campaigner Deniss Karpak EST. Michael Maier CZE is 3rd, Uli Breuer GER 4th. 56 participants from 12 nations.

Two races were sailed yesterday on Cannes Bay in a moderate wind, and the new leader is Benjamin Montagut FRA, best of the day with the ranks 1 and 5. The favorite Deniss Karpak EST remains close with a 2 points' backlog on the leader. Already 11 points behind is Michael Maier CZE on 3rd, at equal points with Uli Breuer GER on 4th.

After two stormy days without races, the Cannes Finn International Week began yesterday with a first heat sailed in an unconstant light wind. The surprise winner was Carlo Lazzari SUI ahead of the favorite Deniss Karpak EST. Valentyn Klymentiev UKR follows on rank 3.60 boats' from 12 nations racing.

The fresh West wind of up to 30 kn stayed on over the Côte d'Azur yesterday, and the 57 Finns from 12 nations remained ashore. Moderate winds between 10 and 15 kn have been announced for today.

The International Finn Week in Cannes FRA began yesterday with the Practice Race. The initial light East wind was reversed shortly after the start and the Mistral started to fill in from the West to up to 5 bft. According to the wind forecast, it shall prevail also during the coming days. Much to do on the water for the 63 participants from 12 nations.

Favorites are Deniss Karpak EST and the former Olympians Florian Raudaschl AUT and Michael Maier CZE. Switzerland is represented by the second-largest fleet behind France with 11 boats.
