Again sun and a moderate breeze on the fourth and last day of the Laser Europacup Regatta in Hyères, and another two races were completed in each fleet.
With two bullets, Colin Chen SIN replaced Antony Munos FRA on top of the Lasers Standard (76 participants) with the same number of points. William De Smet BEL finished 3rd. Tuula Tenkanen FIN was the undisputed winner with a 36 points' lead in the Lasers Radial (260 participants) ahead of Efe Soysal TUR and Arthur Barrué FRA. Guido Gallinaro ITA defended his first place in the Lasers 4.7 (185 participants), 6 points ahead of Rasim Yasar TUR on rank 2. Alessandro Fornasari ITA finished 3rd.

Only a light and circling breeze prevailed yesterday on Hyères Bay for the first races of the Laser Europacup regatta. The Lasers Standard and Lasers Radial - the 276 participants split in four Groups - sailed at least one race, while the over 200 Lasers 4.7 remained without valid results.
William De Smet BEL was first in the Lasers Standard ahead of Eliot Merceron FRA and Antony Munos FRA. 74 starters. The four race winners in the Lasers Radial were Louise Cervera FRA, Liam Glynn IRL, Ewen McMahon IRL and Tuula Tenkanen FIN. On the second ranks were Romen Richard FRA, Laura Schewe GER, Efe Soysal TUR and Grégoire Péverelli SUI. 261 Radials participate.

Much wind - 25 kn from the West - prevailed yesterday during the last training day at the Laser Europacup in Hyères. For today and tomorrow, wind forecast is rather light. Almost 500 participants will start in the three Laser classes.

Sun and a moderate Mistral around 22 kn have been forecast for today, the first race day of the French Laser Europacup round in Hyères FRA, the third event of this Annual Championship Tour after Koper SLO and Lugano SUI. With over 400 participants from 20 nations, spectacular races are guaranteed.
