 Laser Standard - Master World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Final results The Laser Standard World Masters' Championship 2016 ended yesterday with two races sailed again in perfect 14-16 kn seabreeze conditions, but without influence on the top ranks of the different age category classifications. Mark Bethwaite is the outstanding winner in the Great Grand Masters, Gavin Dagley AUS is first in the Grand Masters, Brett Beyer AUS wins in the Masters and Pablo Rabago MEX is the best Apprentice Master.

 Laser Standard - Master World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Day 5 The Laser Standard World Masters continued yesterday in Mexico after the lay day again in perfect sailing conditions with high-summer temperatures and a 14-16 kn seabreeze. Some final decisions are already known before the last races today. Mark Bethwaite AUS 9 points ahead o Doug Peckover USA will most probably defend his title in the Great Grand Master. In the Grand Masters, Gavin Dagley AUS is now 5 points ahead of Cristian Herman CHI. 13 points is the advantage of Brett Beyer AUS on Ernesto Rodriguez USA in the Masters. The title in the Apprentice Mastern willl go to Pablo Ramago MEX who dominated the fleet.

 Laser Standard - Master World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Day 4 Lay day yesterday at the Laser Standard World Masters in Mexico. After six races, there are mostly Australians on top of the different age categories. Today, two more races are on the program.

The positions of the best North Americans by nation are:
- Great Grand Masters: Doug Peckover USA 2nd, John Dawson-Edwards CAN 4th, Fernando Rabago MEX 11th
- Grand Masters: Alan Clark CAN 3rd, Vann Wilson USA 6th, Antonio Vertiz MEX 18th
- Masters: Ernesto Rodriguez USA 2nd, William Pullen CAN 5th, Guillerme Tapia-Moreno MEX 28th
- Apprentice Masters: Pablo Rabago MEX 1st

 Laser Standard - Master World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Day 3 The seabreeze filled in again on time by noon on the third day of the Laser Standard World Masters, but this time somewhat lighter - 8 kn - compared to the previous days. No problem for Mark Bethwaite AUS in the Great Grand Masters who continued with his winning streak. Gavin Dagley AUS extended his lead in the Grand Masters on 11 points. Already 12 points is the advantage of Brett Beyer AUS in the Masters and a undisputed leader reigns also in the Apprentice Masters with Pablo Rabago MEX.

 Laser Standard - Master World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Day 2 The seabreeze was yesterday again ready on time at 13h with an initial 8 kn freshening up on 15 kn. In most age groups, the leaders are already now on a good way to the title.
Mark Bethwaite AUS won again both races in the Great Grand Masters, as did Brett Beyer AUS in the Masters and Pablo Rabago MEX in the Apprentice Masters. Only in the Grand Masters, a leader change occurred with Gavin Dagley AUS now sole on the first position thanks to a race win.

Laser Standard - Master World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Day 1

 Laser Standard - Master World Championship 2016 - Nuevo Vallarta MEX - Day 1 The fourth and last Laser World Championship, the Laser Standard Masters, began yesterday in Mexico. The freshening seabreeze of up to 16 kn allowed to complete two races in every age category. In the Great Grand Masters, Mark Bethwait GBR won both races, Nick Paige NZL and Gavin Dagley AUS jointly lead in the Grand Masters, the largest category with 39 participants. Leader in the Masters is Brett Beyer AUS with two race wins as well, while Guilherme Roth BRA and Pablo Rabago MEX share the first place in the Apprentice Masters.
