 Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Final results The Tornado World Championship on Lake Constance was concluded yesterday with 2 races sailed in a well-established 12-15 kn Southwind. The 2015 champions Iordanis Paschalidis/Konstantinos Trigonis GRE won the first race and defended herewith their title. Gavin Colby/Billy Leonard AUS grasped Silver, Brett Burvill AUS/Estela Jentsch GER Bronze and were at the same the best mixed team. Bob and Marc Baier GER on 4th are the best Germans among the 29 teams from 11 nations. The final report, the ranking lists and the video of the day.

 Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Day 5 The moderate wind yesterday again allowed to complete one race only, but the final outcome of the World Championship before today's last races has been consolidated in favour of the defending champions Paschalidis/Trigonis GRE who won again and have now an 8 points' lead on Mavros/Tagaropoulos GRE. Only one point behind are Colby/Leonard AUS fighting for Silver today. The results, the daily news and the video of the day.

 Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Day 4 Again long waiting yesterday for the 29 Tornados at their Worlds on Lake Constance, and the wind filled in late in the afternoon only to allow to sail just one race in an 8-10 kn breeze. Iordanis Paschalidis/Konstantinos Trigonis GRE were again the winners extending their overall lead. With the discard in effect, Nikolaos Mavros/Alexandros Tagaropoulos GRE moved up on rank 2 at equal points with Gavin Colby/Billy Leonard AUS on rank 3.  Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Day 3 A big lull was over Lake Constance during the whole day and only after a late afternoon thunderstrom, the breeze filled in a at least one race could be started at 17h in a 3-4 bft wind. Again, it were the defending champions Iordanis Paschalidis/Konstantinos Trigonis GRE winning and extending herewith their lead. On rank 2 is new Brett Burvil AUS, who sails with Estela Jentsch GER, age 14, from Lindau/Lake Constance. Bob and Marc Baier GER were forced to abandon the race with equipment failure. To be noted that Roland and Nahid Gäbler GER, the main challengers for the leading Greeks in previous championships, are absent due to an injury.

 Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Day 2 The fresh breeze of the opening day was replaced by light winds and rain yesterday and only one additional race was sailed on Lake Constance, won by Nikolaos Mavros/Alexandros Tagaropoulos GRE. Finishing 4th, the defending champions Paschalidis/Trigonis GRE remained on top of the rankings ahead of Bob and Marc Baier GER. The ranking list, the daily news and the videos.

Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Day 1

 Tornado - World Championship 2016 - Lindau GER - Day 1 Lake Constance welcomed the Tornado World Championship with a fresh up to 25 kn westwind building up rough waves off Lindau on the eastern end of the Lake. Two races were sailed and the defending champions Trigonis/Paschalidis GRE have already taken the lead with two bullets. Bob and Marc Baier GER follow on rank 2, Colby/Leonard AUS are 3rd. Many of the 35 teams from 11 nations were forced to abandon the races with equipment failures or after capsizes.
