Finn - U23 World Championship 2016 - Aarhus DEN - Final results - Gold for Philipp Kasüske GER

 Finn - U23 World Championship 2016 - Aarhus DEN - Final results - Gold for Philipp Kasüske GER Sun and a 10-12 kn shifty breeze from the shore prevailed yesterday at the Junior Finn Worlds in Aarhus DEN and the defending champion Ondrej Teply CZE and Philipp Kasueske GER fighted for the overall win until the last downwind finish leg. Thanks to the superior top speed downwind, Kasüske had the upper hand and relegated Teply on rank 2. Bronze went to Facundo Olezza ARG, the only junior in the fleet selected for the forthcoming Rio Olympics.

 Finn - U23 World Championship 2016 - Aarhus DEN - Day 4 Light winds prevailed yesterday at the Junior Finn Worlds and two races were completed with an overthrow in the rankings, as the majority of the top-ranked missed the speader-mark after the second upwind and was disqualified. The defending champion Ondrei Teply CZE is now the new leader., but Philipp Kasüske GER and Facundo Olezza ARG are only 2, resp. 3 points behind. Nenad Bugarin CRO dropped on rank 4 with a 17 points' backlog on rank 1. Two final races are on the program today and the fight for the title will be tight.

 Finn - U23 World Championship 2016 - Aarhus DEN - Day 3 After the fresh breeze of Wednesday, the wind was down on 8-14 kn yesterday, still westerly blowing from the shore with shifts and lulls. Three races were completed, all won by the leader Nenad Bugarin CRO extending the gap on the chasers Philipp Kasueske GER, new on 2nd, and the defending champion Ondra Teply CZE on 3rd.
