The Laser 4.7 European Championship in the Bretagne ended yesterday with two races.
A major overthrow happened in the Boys, where Dimitris Papadimitriou GRE, day ranks 2 and 6, jumped from rank 5 to 1, as the previous leader Rasim Yasar TUR was disqualified in the last race and dropped on rank 6 overall. The best of the day (1/2) Guido Galinaro ITA advanced on rank 2. Alessandro Fornassari ITA took the Bronze Medal. 212 participants from 27 nations competed.
No change on top of the Girls where Anouk Geurts BEL grasped the title with a 13 points' advantage on Federica Cattarozzi ITA, Bronze went to Annabelle Westerhof NED. 89 participants from 19 nations.

The Laser 4.7 Europeans in the Bretagne continued yesterday with two races.
In the Boys, the situation is fully open before the last races today, as the ranks 1 to 5 are separated by 8 points only. Rasim Yasar TUR remains on top 2 points ahead of Alessandro Fornassari ITA. Léo Morin FRA, best of the day (1/5), is new on rank 3 with a 4 points' backlog on rank 1.
Anouk Goerts BEL extended her lead in the Girls on 12 points. Annabelle Westerhof NED and Federica Cattarozzi ITA are the first challengers. With only 2 points on Bronze, Valeriya Lomatchenko RUS is also in the chase for a Medal.

In Crozon Morgat in Bretagne FRA, the Lasers 4.7 have now completed six races at their Europeans concluding the qualifications for the Gold- Silber- and Bronze Fleets.
Annouk Geurts BEL leads in the Girls fleet ahead of Kim Pletikos SLO and Federica Cattarozzi ITA.
The top position in the 4.7-Boys is clear with Rasim Yasar TUR who has 4 race wins on his record sheet. Elia Vitali ITA and Uffe Tomasgaard NOR follow at equal points on the ranks 2 and 3.

Yesterday, the Laser 4.7 Youth European Championship began in Crozon-Morgat FRA on the Atlantic Coast. Both fleets completed two races.
In the Girls, Elisa Navoni ITA is on the first place with two race wins in her Group. Kim Pletikos SLO and Annouk Goerts BEL are the first persuers. 88 entrants.
