2.4m, Skud-18, Sonar - Paralympic Games 2016 - Rio de Janeiro BRA - Final results - Skud-18 Silver for CAN, Sonar Silver for USA, Bronze for CAN

2.4m, Skud-18, Sonar - Paralympic Games 2016 - Rio de Janeiro BRA - Final results - Skud-18 Silver for CAN, Sonar Silver for USA, Bronze for CAN After the Paralympic Skud-18 and Sonar Gold Medal winners known prematurely on Friday already, the third Paralympic title for the 2.4m keelboat was decided in Rio yesterday in favour of Damien Séguin FRA. Finishing 4th in the last race, he gained the upper hand on Matt Bugg AUS and Helena Lucas GBR remaining on the ranks 2 and 3. Three teams fighted in the Skud-18 for Silver and Bronze, as Daniel Fitzgibbon/Liesl Tesch AUS were the premature winners already. Winning the last race was not good enough for Monika Gibes/Piotr Chichoki POL to climb on the podium. With a one point's backlog on Alexandra Rickham/Niki Birrell GBR, they had to content themselves with the 4th place. Silver went to John McRoberts/Jackie Gay CAN. Behind the premature Sonar Champion Colin Harrison AUS and his team, Silver and Bronze went to Alphonsus Doerr USA and Paul Tingley CAN.
