After the opening day with light winds, allowing to finish only one race at the Kite Board Goldcup in Qatar, a good breeze filled in yesterday and 5 races were completed. Oliver Bridge GBR is the new leader with a row of top finishes, replacing Maxime Nocher MON on rank one. Toni Vodisek SLO, age 16, booked 3 bullets and moved up on the 3rd place. Elena Kalinina RUS follows as best woman on rank 17.

The Final of the Kite-Foil-Goldcup, consisting of three events, began yesterday with an initial race sailed in light winds. Despite of winds around 6 kn, the drivers were already foiling, and the favorites finished on the first positions with Maxime Nocher MON as winner ahead of Axel Mazella FRA, interim's leader of the Goldcup. Maks Zakowski POL follows on the 3rd place. Elena Kalinina RUS on rank 12 is the best woman among the 38 participants from 18 nations.
