Windsurfing - RS:X Youth World Championship 2016 - Limassol CYP - Final results, without North Americans
Light winds prevailed yesterday during the Medal Races, respectively the last race for the rest of the fleets to conclude the RS:X Windsurfing Youth World Championship on Cyprus, a Championship without North Americans.
Yoav Omer ISR had his title in the Boys prematurely before the Medal Race already. Winning this last heat, he demonstrated once more his superiority. He will without doubt be the key favorite at the World Sailing Youth Worlds in New Zealand in December. Camille Bouyer FRA and Tom Reuveny ISR earned Silver and Bronze.
Winning the Medal Race of the Girls, Katy Spychakov ISR replaced the defending champion Noy Driham ISR on top of the rankings at the end of the Championship. Mariam Sekhposyan RUS took Bronze.
