Finn - World Masters 2017 - Carlisle Bay BAR - Day 5

 Finn - World Masters 2017 - Carlisle Bay BAR - Day 5 Yesterday, racing was again very challenging for the Finn Masters (age 40 up) on Carlisle Bay / Barbados with a 19-22 kn breeze during the last two qualifcation races. The leader Raffael Trujillo ESP won both heats of his group, as did Laurent Hay FRA, who moved up on rank 2 overall. Vladimir Krutskhik RUS is new on the 3rd place, but the points' gaps are very small and the best 8 have still a chance for the title in today's Medal Race.

 Finn - World Masters 2017 - Carlisle Bay BAR - Day 3, Coutts USA 21st, Spague USA DSQ After two windy days, a moderate breeze prevailed on the Barbados and the Finn World Masters continued with on race per group. Thanks to a race win, Raffael Trujillo ESP reclaimed the first place one point ahead of Michael Maier CZE on 2nd. Piet Eckert SUI - rank 3 yesterday - defended the 3rd position overall. Henry Sprague USA was disqualified and dropped on rank 47. The best USA helmsman is now Rob Coutts USA on the 21st place.

 Finn - World Masters 2017 - Carlisle Bay BAR - Day 2, Sprague USA 23rd One day late, the first races at the Finn World Masters were held yester on the Barbados in a fresh 18 kn breeze, the fleet split in two groups. The defending champion Raffael Trujillo ESP won both heats of his group taking the overall interim's lead. In the other group, Michael Maier CZE and Laurent Hay FRA both finished 1 and and follow on rank 2 overall at equal points. Henry Sprague USA is 23rd among the 140 participants.

 Finn - World Masters 2017 - Carlisle Bay BAR - Day 1, with 9 USA Finn sailors No racing on the first day of the Finn World Masters as the wind exceeding 30 kn was too strong. 127 participants from 23 nations are present, among them the past World Champions Rafael Trujillo ESP and Henry Sprague USA. Big delegations come from Great Britain, Germany, USA, Switzerland and Austria.
