 18-Footer - European Championship 2017 - Arco ITA - Final results, downunder teams dominate With a stellar series of 13 bullets in 14 races, David McDiarmid/Brad Collins/Matt Stevens NZL are the winners of the 18-Footer European Championship on Lake Garda. The three races of yesterday were of course also theirs. In the duel for rank 2, 'C-Tech' NZL with Alex Vallings NZL had the upper hand on 'Line 7' AUS with Jonathan Whitty AUS. The best European Jarrod Simpson GBR and his team finished on the 4th position.

18-Footer - European Championship 2017 - Arco ITA - Day 5, Yamaha NZL premature Champion

The die is cast before today's last races: 'Yamaha' with David McDiarmid NZL won 10 of the 11 races sailed so far and is the undisputed Champion. The fight for the other medals is fully open with 'C-Tech' of Alex Vallings NZL new on second, only one point ahead of 'Line 7' with Jonathan Whitty AUS. The best European Jarrod Simpson GBR on the 4th place is 13 points behind Bronze.

 18-Footer - European Championship 2017 - Arco ITA - Day 3, dominance of 'Yamaha' NZL continues Three races were again held yesterday at the 18-footer Europeans on Lake Garda in a perfect Ora breeze. And again, the winner of all races was 'Yamaha' with David McDiarmid NZL, and without doubt, the title will be hers in the last races today. 'Line 7' with Johnathan Whitty AUS on 2nd is already 11 points back. 'C-Tech' with Alex Vallings NZL follows on rank 3. The best European Jarrod Simpson GBR follows on the 5th place.

 18-Footer - European Championship 2017 - Arco ITA - Day 2, NZL and AUS skiff dominate Best Lake Garda conditions prevailed on the second day of the 18-footer Europeans and again, 3 races have been completed with 'Yahama' of David McDiarmid NZL winning two, but abandoning the first race of the day. Overall, the New Zealanders are now 9 points ahead of 'Line 7' with Jonathan Whitty AUS, and another point back 'C-Tech' of Alex Vallings NZL on 3rd. The best European is Jarrod Simpson GBR and his team on rank 5.

 18 Footer - European Championship 2017 - Arco ITA - Day 1, 'Yamaha' NZL first leader A well-established Ora breeze allowed to finish 3 excellent races on the opening day of the 18-footer European Championship on Lake Garda. 18 teams are on the entry list, 10 of them from Australia and New Zealand ! Finishing three times on rank 1, 'Yamaha' with David McDiarmid NZL confirmed their role as favorites. On rank 2 followed Jarrod Simpson GBR, one point ahead of Jonathan Whitty AUS on 3rd.
