 WASZP - International Games - Campione ITA - Final results, Baldridge USA second Only light winds between 8 and 10 kn prevailed on the last day of the WASZP Games and in the lull patches, foiling was not possible. The favorite Harold Mighell AUS - member of the WASZP design team - won the last race and finished as overall winner. Reed Baldrige USA and Kohei Kajamoto AUS follow on the ranks 2 and 3.  WASZP - International Games - Campione ITA - Day 2, Reed Baldridge USA 2nd Three races were held atl the WASZP International Games in perfect Lake Garda conditions yesterday.
With the ranks 1/2/1, Harold Mighell AUS is the new leader one point ahead of Reed Baldridge USA. Kohei Kajamoto AUS advanced on rank 3. Well underway is also the 470 Olympian Pierre Leboucher FRA on rank 7. The experienced Laser sailor Sara Winter NZL 34th and Fredrikke Foss NOR (age 15 !) 35th are in a close duel for the women's title.

 WASZP - International Games - Campione ITA - Day 1 The extreme heat - it was the hottest day on Lake Garda this year - disturbed the 'Ora' thermal breeze that filled in light and varying only. Nevertheless, the first three races were completed at the WASPZ International Games. Reed Baldridge USA dominated the day with the ranks 1/1/3 and leads clearly ahead of Harry Mighell AUS, who finished 9th at the Moths Worlds held last week, as did Stefano Ferrighi ITA following on rank 3. The former 470 Olympian Pierre Leboucher FRA is on rank 5. Unfortunately, the complete ranking list whs not yet posted on the event website this morning. The daily news.

 WASZP - International Games - Campione ITA - Day 1 The WASZP International Games began yesterday with the Practice Race. Here a video report. The official preview (PDF) presents the varied fleet with sailors from the Olympic circuit, the America's Cup or the Volvo Ocean Race. Harry Mighell AUS, rank 9 in the top-level Moth Worlds last week, will probably be the favorite on the one-design version.

 WASZP - International Games - Campione ITA - Start today The air shows continue after the Moth Worlds on Lake Garda ! Today in Campione/Lake Garda, the first import WASZP regatta, the One Design Foiler Moths, takes place, a skiff on sale at an affordable price, as the open design Moths have become extremely expensive with the individual technical modifications (especially various foils) added by the America's Cup teams. 51 teams from 12 nations participate, among the helmsperson from Olympic Classes such as Sara Winter NZL or Pierre Le Bocher FRA.
