The World Championship of the Open Bic youth class ended yesterday on Lake Garda with two races. In the U13 category, Mathias Coutts NZL made everything clear winning both heats. Pol Font Reyero ESP and Jenna Everett AUS earned Silver and Bronze. A New Zealand victory also in the U17 category with Sean Herbert NZL. Lisa Nukui JPN and Lennart Frohmann DEN took Silver and Bronze.

Mathias Coutts NZL has a 2 points' lead on Pol Font Reyero ESP in the U13-rankings before the last races today. The first girl is Jenna Everett AUS on rank 3. John Lattanzi USA is up on rank 5. In the U17-rankings, Sean Herbert NZL has a solid first place with an 18 points' lead on Lisa Nukui JPN new on rank 2. Giorgia Bona ITA follows as 3rd. Kanoa Pick USA is the best Armerican on rank 7 among the 132 participants from 14 nations and 4 continents.

After three days' fleetracing at the Open-Bic Worlds on Lake Garda, team racing was on the program yesterday. A Boys and Girls team from Hawaii is representing the USA.
Mathias Coutts NZL (the son of the famous father, here an interview) is the overall U13 leader ahead of Pol Font Reyero ESP and Jenna Everett AUS. John Lattanzi USA is 7th. In the U17 rankings, Sean Herbert NZL is on top with Giorgo Bona ITA and Kristen Wadley AUS as first persuers. Kanoa Pick USA is the best Armerican on rank 8 among the 132 participants from 14 nations and 4 continents.
Winner of the Teamracing Final was Australia defeating Denmark. The USA team finished 3rd.
