GC32-Catamaran, Flying Phantom - Extreme Sailing Series, Act 6 - Cardiff GBR - Final results

 GC32-Catamaran, Flying Phantom - Extreme Sailing Series, Act 6 - Cardiff GBR - Final results Sun and good sailing conditions prevailed on the last day of Act 6 of the Extreme Sailing Series, allowing to complete another 6 races. The final double-points race decided in favour of the Danish 'SAP Extreme Sailing Team' with Adam Minoprio NZL winning the heat, while 'Alinghi' with Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI had a failed start and finished only 4th, loosing rank 1 to 'SAP'.
With this victory, the Danish team took the overall Tour lead two points ahead of 'Oman Air' with Phil Robertson NZL, but also 'Alinghi' 5 points behind the leader remains a contender for the overall title. The next act follows in San Diego CA mid-October.

 GC32-Catamaran, Flying Phantom - Extreme Sailing Series, Act 6 - Cardiff GBR - Day 3 Flat calms prevailed on the third day of the Extreme Sailing Series in Cardiff and racing was cancelled for the day for the foiling GC-catamarans. The scoreboard remains unchanged with 'SAP Extreme Sailing Team' with Adam Minoprio NZL in the lead 4 points ahead of 'Alinghi' with Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI. 'Oman Air' with Phil Robertson NZL is 9 points behind the leader. The results and the daily news.

The Flying Phantoms, supporting Act to the GC32s, had more luck with the wind finishing 3 heats early in the morning. Thomas Zajac AUT/Will Ryan AUS have taken the interim's lead with two race wins, one point ahead of Charles Hainneville/Antoine Rucard FRA on 2nd.
