 5.5m - World Championship 2017 - Bénodet FRA - Final results Gavin McKinney BAH and his team defended the lead in the final race of the 5.5 mIJ World Championship in Bénodet FRA winning his first Worlds' title. Mark Holowesko BAH took Silver 4 points behind. The duel for rank 3 went in favor of Jan-Arend Pasman NED. Bernard Haissly SUI had to content himself with rank 4.

 5.5m - World Championship 2017 - Bénodet FRA - Day 3 The 5.5 mIJ Worlds continued yesterday in a 10-15 kn breeze with two races. Gavin McKinney BAH and his team replaced Mark Holowesko BAH on top but the two Bahamians are separated by one point only before the last races today. New on rank 3 is Bernard Haissly SUI, but with a 19 points' backlog, he has no real chances for the title.

 5.5m - World Championship 2017 - Bénodet FRA - Day 2 Fresh winds at the upper sailable limit prevailed on the second day of the 5.5 mIJ Worlds in France, and after one race, the fleet was sent back to the harbour.
The day's winner was Gavin McKinney BAH, who joined Mark Holowesko BAH on top of the rankings. The Worlds' title will most probably be decided between these two Bahama teams, as the Gold Cup winner Jürg Menzi SUI abandonded the race yesterday with a broken mast and will leave the event.New on rank 3 is now Arend-Jan Pasman NED with a 16 points' backlog.

 5.5m - Scandinavian Goldcup - Benodet FRA - Final Day - Victory for Jürg Menzi SUI Yesterday, the three nations' teams with one or two race wins started to the Final to determine the winner. Finishing twice on top, Jürg Menzi SUI and his team won the prestigious Scandinavian Gold Cup Trophy for Switzerland.
The 5.5 mIJ World Championship will begin on Sunday.
