No wind on the final day of the Laser Radial Youth European Championship on Lake Balaton and Matilda Talluri ITA and Guido Gallinaro ITA were proclaimed European Youth Champions 2018.
In the Girls Silver behind Talluri ITA went also to Italy with Federica Catterazzi ITA 4 points ahead of Valerya Lomatschenko RUS.
Guido Gallinaro ITA terminated the Boys Championship with a considerable advantage on Marcelo Cairo ESP. Bronze went to Campbell Patton BER. Julian van den was 67th, Kai Leslie RSA 111th and Taj Maxwell BER on 142th.

Day 5 of the Laser Radial Youth Europeans on Lake Balaton and for the first time a fresher 15-18kn wind prevailed. After a long 8-hour-day and 20 general recall, the Boys had 3, the Girls 2 races more on their score sheet.
Guido Gallinaro ITA defended his first place in the Boys' rankings with an 11 points' lead on Marcelo Cairo ESP best of the day with the ranks 2/5/3. On rank 3 follows now Campbell Patton BER.
In the Girls, Matilda Talluri ITA as best of the day has taken rank 1 ahead of Federica Cattarozzi ITA on 2nd. Valerya Lomatchenko RUS moved up on the 3rd place thanks to a race win.

Light but steady winds allowed to complete three races par fleet on the fourth day of the Laser Radial Youth Europeans.
The Boys' fleet, split in two Groups, has herewith concluded the Qualification Series for the Gold- and Silverfleets. Guido Gallinaro ITA has taken the lead 4 points ahead of Andrea Crisi ITA. Kirill Tereshkin RUS is new on rank 3. Julian Van den Driessche ISV is 56th, Kai Leslie RSA 119th and Taj Maxwell BER on 156th.
Annabelle Westerhof NED is now 9 points ahead of Karmen Perkovic CRO in the Girls fleet. New on rank 3 is now Marcelina Korszon POL, leading also in the U17 rankings.
