 5o5 - World Championship 2018 - Gdynia POL - Final results - Gold goes to Stengel/Jess GER With two final races the World Championship of the 5o5er came to an end yesterday. After a convincing series with 4 race wins and only top 5 ranks in the eight races, Lutz Stengel / Holger Jess GER did not have to compete on the last day and clinched the title 13 points ahead of Mike Holt / Rob Woelfel USA. Bronze goes to Jan-Philipp Hoffmann / Felix-Björn Brockerhoff GER. 127 teams from 14 nations from 4 continents were competing in this event. The Final ranking list and the Event website.

 5o5 - World Championship 2018 - Gdynia POL - Day 5 Good conditions with Seabreeze around 10kn allowed 3 more races yesterday at the 5o5 World Championship in Poland. The leaders Lutz Stengel/Holger Jess GER won two further races and increased their gap on top whilst Mike Holt/Rob Woelfel USA sailed their two discards. Thanks to a race win, Philippe Boite/Mathieu Fountaine FRA advanced to third place overall. The Leaderboard, the Event website and the Videos.

 5o5 - World Championship 2018 - Gdynia POL - Day 4 After two lay days due to lack of wind, good sailing conditions prevailed yesterday at the Baltic Sea. 3 races were completed. Lutz Stengel/Holger Jess GER lead the fleet now with two race wins yesterday. Two points behind in second place is Mike Holt/Rob Woelfel USA followed by Nathan Bachelor/Sam Pascoe GBR who moved up to third. The Leaderboard and the Event website ,

 5o5 - World Championship 2018 - Gdynia POL - Day 3 The midsummer weather without any wind on the Baltic Sea prevented further races at the 5o5er World Championship yesterday. Thus, the ranking after the first two races of the first day still remains; Mike Holt/Rob Woelfel USA are still leading the 130 teams in the overall standings. After the two races of the first day, the title defender Mike Holt USA leads with his crew Rob Woelfel USA 2 points ahead of Lutz Stengel / Holger Jess GER, followed by Philippe Boite / Mathieu Fountaine FRA on rank 3. 129 teams from 14 nations and 4 continents are competing.  5o5 - World Championship 2018 - Gdynia POL - Day 1 Yesterday the 505er World Championship kicked off in Poland with two regattas. With 140 teams the event is very well attended. With two race wins, the defending champion Mike Holt USA, this time with crew Rob Woelfel USA, clearly demonstrated his class. In second place follow Lutz Stengel / Holger Jess GER (2/2).  5o5 - Pre-World Championship - Gdynia POL - Final results In shifty winds between 15 and 18 knots the Pre-Worlds of the 5o5er were completed yesterday. After 3 races Mike Holt/Rob Woelfel USA won in front of Sandy Higgins/Paul Marsh AUS and Lutz Stengel/Holger Jess GER. The Leaderboard.
